Weekend warmers: Yellow

It's a colour I have never really liked in interiors before, but lately I have had an absolute obsession with yellow. It has to be just a small hit of mustard yellow, and I love it together with grey or black.

Tetbury visit: Twig Florist

Twig is a beautiful and unique florist in Tetbury. I love the rustic style of the shop and the flower arrangements. They also have a very quirky interior with painted checkered floor and random patterns on walls and ceiling. It is a true joy to see a florist with a difference.

Real Swedish homes

Sometimes I get a bit tired at looking at glossy magazines and their impossibly perfect homes, unattainable on most peoples income. Thats when I have a brows through the web pages of Swedish estate agent Bo-lagets. Yes, I know, these homes have been staged for sale, and all the clutter of everyday life has been removed. But they are still real homes, for real people with real life TV's (have you ever seen one of those in interior magazines) and kids toys and mix and match pieces. Some are even tiny studio flats. So much more attainable.

Simple beauty

Pared down beauty with all its bones and structure exposed. Love the rustic wood, and simple pale colours.
