I am really fascinated by antlers at the moment. Think it is the connotation to cabins and winter. So on that note, here are some antler filled interiors for you to enjoy.

Knitted interiors
The texture of knitted textiles add a warmth and interest to an interior which I love. This cosy interior takes it to extremes. Maybe not to everyones taste, but I love that rams head above the fire.

Cabin fever
Maybe it is because winter is drawing in, or the fact that I am currently in Norway in the middle of the forest and valleys, but I have recently had a real 'thing' for antlers, animal skins and raw wood. This cabin in the Norwegian mountains tick all the boxes. I can just imagine myself after a long day skiing, curled up on those skins in front of the fire, with a good book and a hot mug of tea. Heaven!

Weekend warmers: Yellow
It's a colour I have never really liked in interiors before, but lately I have had an absolute obsession with yellow. It has to be just a small hit of mustard yellow, and I love it together with grey or black.

This is me
As part of the October challenge over on Design Refuge I have tried to define what my style is and I have come up with this: Scandinavian eclectic with the occasional hit of colour. Cosy textiles and warm woods. A mix of design classics, treasured family heirlooms, flea-market finds and IKEA.
And of course, every home needs a cat.

British made: Another Country
These lovely oak pieces are hand made by Another Country, a small Dorset based furniture company. This is their first collection, drawing inspiration from a mix of British Country, Shaker, Scandinavian and Japanese woodwork. They also work to strict environmentally friendly principles, using FSC certified wood, natural latex mattresses and organic lambswool from farms in Devon and Dorset. I like companies who care about green matters. My personal favorite is the daybed in the image above. So simple, so pretty.
