Here is the first of this seasons Christmas windows for Grasse. Had fun making the paper garlands out of old paperbacks and tracing paper. Due to do the next one this coming week. Christmas seems to be approaching a bit too fast for my liking.

Beautiful decay
Sometimes old and tired can be a lot more interesting than new and stylish. This decaying beauty is so stunning. I could wander through this building for hours, wondering what stories it could tell.

Weekend warmers: Cosy Corner
Every home should have a cosy corner where you can curl up in a comfy chair with cup of tea and a good book or the latest interior magazine. A plump cushion, warm blanket and good-looking reading light is mandatory.

It's beginning to look a lot like.....
I promised myself I would not do any Christmas post until December, or at least until first sunday of advent on the 28th of November. Hard not to get swept away though as so many stunning blog posts are popping everywhere. So here is an almost there, but not yet post, with cosy warm interiors by the talented Swedish photographer Anna Kern.

Winter walk
I am currently in the valleys of Norway enjoying the beautiful winter weather. Cold and crisp, with a layer of frost covering everything. Here are some images from the walk today.

Weekend warmers: Antlers
I am really fascinated by antlers at the moment. Think it is the connotation to cabins and winter. So on that note, here are some antler filled interiors for you to enjoy.

Knitted interiors
The texture of knitted textiles add a warmth and interest to an interior which I love. This cosy interior takes it to extremes. Maybe not to everyones taste, but I love that rams head above the fire.

Cabin fever
Maybe it is because winter is drawing in, or the fact that I am currently in Norway in the middle of the forest and valleys, but I have recently had a real 'thing' for antlers, animal skins and raw wood. This cabin in the Norwegian mountains tick all the boxes. I can just imagine myself after a long day skiing, curled up on those skins in front of the fire, with a good book and a hot mug of tea. Heaven!
