I know I have posted about this place before, but it is just so amazing. So when I came across even more photos on photographer Trine Thorsen's blog, So Mee, I just had to share them. Enjoy.
Just back from Norway after a wonderful week. We went to my little sisters 'confirmation' and as any Norwegian can verify that entails the following: Beautiful national costumes, smoked and cured fish, cold sliced meats and lots, and lots of cake! We did however find time to enjoy some of the stunning scenery as well. Deep forests and high peaks. Bliss.
Beautiful bright family home in Denmark, with lots of light. I like how they have contrasted with darker colours to prevent it from becoming a total white out. And I love that yellow stripe on the kitchen splash-back, so cool.
Wishing everyone a very happy 17th May. One of those days where I really wish I was back home in Norway, to celebrate our national day with family. Here in Bath, my husband and I will celebrate an alternative national day with Sushi and a day at the Spa. Not too bad.
Every girls dream, the walk in wardrobe. This being one of the prettier ones I have ever seen. With a room like this, maybe even I could learn to be tidy?
Another dark wood kitchen has caught my eye. Although I'm not sure I would ever choose units this dark for myself, I do love the drama of it. And that raw wood table is stunning.
This is the beautiful home of Desiree the lady behind Vosges Paris, photographed for IKEA Family Live. I am completely in love with this calm and tranquil space and its muted shades of grey. Please can I move in, or at least come round for some relaxing afternoon tea?
