IKEA Metod

Finally, after having worked on this project full time for a while now I can share it all with you. Today Ikea  went public with their brand new modular kitchen system called METOD. Norway is the first country to offer it in stores on the 15th April, followed soon after by Sweden and Denmark. The images below are from todays PR launch in Stockholm in an old parking garage. Can't wait to see more images from here over the following days.

IKEA PS 2012

After drooling over the images from the new IKEA PS collection for several months, I can finally share my favourites. The new collection focuses on sustainability and good design, and draws inspiration from old IKEA favourites from the 60s. I love the styling for the press images, using real homes of all styles and sizes as the settings. My absolute favourite is the gorgeous glass front cabinet, desperately trying to find a spot for it in my home. A little bit easier to fit in is the wall light and the candle stick. They are definitely coming home with me soon. The range is available her in Norway from the 2nd May. So very excited to see this pieces in real life!

The art of giftwrapping

My favourite thing about Christmas presents is wrapping them. I try to do something different each year, all tough I am very much partial to brown paper. I am drawing some inspiration from these lovely images, now I just have to buy the contents first.
